New Word Alive

Listening to: Nothing

New Word Alive was a great week. I won't spend time here reporting on it, as many are already doing so very well. Warnock, of course, was liveblogging, and Bish, I suspect will have more to say once he's back from the USA. For me, it was a really fun week. I lived with some guys in a static caravan; some of whom were already good mates (Steve Bawden, Jonny Richards, Iain Ness, Pete Williams), some of whom now are (Dan Thomas, Rob Croucher, Sam Pictor). One particular highlight was the massive sandwich that Dan cooked for me (2 sausages, 3 rashers of bacon, two fried eggs). Lovely.

It was a very productive week work-wise. I helped Rachel T do some filming for next year's promo video for New Word Alive. I helped Pod out with writing bits and bobs for the daily news sheet. Mainly, though, Mike and I recorded five interviews with various ones of the speakers on theological subjects which will become podcasts on Theology Network. Exciting stuff. And let me tell you, we got some absolute gold dust! Can't wait to unleash these things!
